Hello and welcome to my world
I have been designing and handmade decorative items for over 30 years. I work with many mediums such as mirror, wood, metal, glass, tile, fabric and even add unique materials such as sea shells, beads & stones into my pieces.
I love and so fortunate to have my studio shop where I can come every day & bring all my crazy ideas to fruition allowing me to design, build, and install truly unique pieces of art all over.
At my Long Island NY studio shop you can custom order or find handmade home decor, mirrors and frames to wastebaskets, art , jewelry, Judaica, kids decor and much more … an extensive selection spans modern, contemporary, art deco, shabby chic, rustic, and kids’ styles.
Each piece is imagined, designed & meticulously handmade by me ensuring exceptional quality and lasting beauty offering a one-of-a-kind touch to any home.

It all started when. . .
I was stung by the design bug at a young age, My childhood exposed me to parents whose belief in the magic of design and creativity & dared to do it all. Install wood ceiling, build our furnishes, wallpaper, paint, knit, saw, garden….I was hooked.
The family motto “There is nothing you can’t do”… “If it’s out there, we can do it too.” Were the words I heard since I a toddler. Today, that credo has secured my approach. I know that I can achieve anything I put my mind and hard work to….Anything Is Possible.
My next chapter took me on a travel journey where I was about to discover my true passion….
Having studied architecture and graphic design in Israel, I came to New York for a new experience where I met my husband Gary and made the US my home.
As a new homeowner on the East End of Long Island NY wishing to make the home my own, I created items from the simplest things and painted my own art work for the home walls. That was the birth of YONART. I started working with designers and retail shops …The business grew quickly from that point on, and I soon needed a workroom to fill my growing business.
In 1998, We bought the fully equipped mirror factory ARTISTIC MIRRORS in Deer Park, NY primarily for the space it provided. However, after being shown how to sandblast, paint and cut mirrors to size by the outgoing owner, I was hooked on frameless mirrored designs, add them to my line and was ready for my first order as YONART Artistic Mirrors.
